Is it true that how a guy treats his parents is a reflection of how he will treat you?

My partner cares about his parents, but he doesn’t really do much for them or go out of his way to help.
It makes me wonder if that's how he's going to treat me in the long run.

There's more nuance to it (he'll roughly mirror the way they treat each other respectively) but overall yes.
