I grew up watching Sandlot Kids as a kid, American Pie as a teen and related to them perfectly as I grew. I related to Grown Ups the last 5 or so years but watching Blended right now and I realise I relate most to single parents who want someone but can never seem to make it work. And are generally not great at being a functioning adult.

Gods I hope I'm not an amusing footnote in too many stories. And just to add salt to that wound I got dumped a month ago. I'm also watching it as I pack up my Lego collection because, at 36 years old, I am moving back in with my parents because I am priced out of the rental market and obviously moving in with my ex is probably off the table.

Remarkably though I'm in good spirits. I'm going to be saving money hard and will hopefully have my own place in 4 years. Focus on healthy habits and good finances.
