Iโm in grad school and work part time as a tour guide; and my favorite part of it is going through the reviews at the end of the day.
No matter how little/many tours I do in a month, I end up having the most 5 stars of the team :) my boss gives me tips for them, too, which is nice but mostly, it makes me so happy because I truly love showing people around, learning more about them, answering their questions, giving recommendations, and hoping that my love and care for my city and school shines through. It feels like it pays off the way they talk about me in the reviews - their words are so kind and lovely that tonight especially, Iโm feeling weepy.
I know this would be looked down on by my family, friends, teachers, etc. but if I lived my life doing โonlyโ a job like this, I would be perfectly content.
