I’m so, so giddy whenever I get back home - regardless of it’s from work, supervisor meeting, or great outing with friends. I love my bed. I love my quiet. I love how I get to be alone. The first thing I do is get showered, brush teeth, get into warm clothes and then jump into bed with snacks.
I’m convinced there is no better feeling than this. It’s what gets me out of bed in the morning, and what allows me to deal with long and hard days.
