Managed to break my arm. Curious if anyone else got experience with that.

Recently started riding a motorcycle against my moms wishes and ended up in an accident. Was using the appropriate gear so got away with minor injuries and the break, which isn't that bad. But now I got this big plaster for a while and my mom gets to gloat, which is fair.
Anyway anyone else been there? got any tips for living with the plaster?
