My kid is frustrated and says "I'm not happy at school, it is too easy". 7 year old in 2nd grade.
Post Body

Most mornings before school, my kid complains that he does not want to go to school. He gets frustrated and says he is not going. His reason is that it is too easy. He does come home after school explaining everything he learned that day, and he really does retain quite a bit. But of course, I have to make him go. But I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Comments

Sounds like a need for hobbies. Something mentally engaging that's active. Maybe simple robotics or basic chemistry or making sculptures.
