I’ve reached a point in life wherein unless you are truly abnormally unattractive, I believe someone’s been into you. People are weird. Attraction is weird. You never know what someone is attracted to. Almost everyone has positive qualities. I’ve crushed on someone who was not well liked and potentially (just potentially, this is subjective) a little below average because I was so in love with their energy.
You know, I think there's a certain kind of magic in not knowing. Whether someone has had a crush on me, or found me attractive, or whatever -- not knowing means I get to continue being myself without the pressure. But, honestly, most of us have probably been the object of someone's affection or lust at some point, without even realizing it. We're all starring in someone's thoughts, maybe even as the romantic lead in their daydreams. It's the little details that stick in someone's mind, whether it's the way you laugh or the passion you show when you talk about your interests. It's worth remembering we're all more than just our insecurities and perceived flaws. And hey, if you've been through college without noticing any signals, maybe it's because you were radiating that independent energy, and that's pretty attractive in itself.
