[18M] How can one accept they won't have the life they want?

Post Body

I've been trying hard to socialize with people that share my interests, with no luck. I've tried getting a job in computer science because I've been interested in computers my whole life, it's too competitive and I'm not quite smart enough to make it in the field. Taking those in to consideration it should be obvious that I can't find a romantic relationship.

I would rather be happy for the people that do have what I want, rather than continue to be bitter about myself.

Comments

Summarizing this thread in advance:

-Learn to be alone

-You're young

-Something generic about sports and hygiene

-Vague attacks on your character

With that out of the way: Consider less horrendously competitive fields. We need a crapton of metallurgists, radiology & lab technicians as well as (and this is the real secret sauce) agriculture related scientists and engineers for example.

Learn how to dance. Keep a diary. Working out is important but it's not everything. A grass touching sport is better lest you become one of a million gymcels out there.

Also. Never buy into the "you need a good job to get a good girl" propaganda. Being broke is a negative for your prospects but you need to understand one thing: There's an industry worth billions centered around men with far, far, far better jobs than you even want that can't get relationships — Egirl flesh and Vstreamers have gotten donations in the thousands from a single source in a single stream as well as gifts of computers, cars, even houses. If you just work on working you can easily become unfuckable, excuse my french.
