I am the only person I know that has a seemingly high number of random interactions with birds. What I mean is that birds get into my personal space for no reason. Most often they land on my car (side mirror or hood) and peek into my car while I'm in it. This happens 2-4 times a month on average, sometimes more. I have a common silver car and my windows aren't any more reflective than other people's cars. I've also had birds fly into my garage multiple times (one of them refused to leave! lol), as well as land on windows of my house, or repeatedly fly into my back door (on purpose, gently perching on door handle or trim or whatever it can grab on to). All kinds of birds too....mockingbird, cardinals, grackle, chickadees, sparrows and so on.
It just happened again as I came back to work from lunch. A bird landed on my driver's side mirror while my window was down, stared at me for a few seconds, and then flew away.
It got me wondering why this keeps happening to me. Am I a Disney princess? Does this happen to others? I've asked people I know and it seems like although it does occasionally happen to others, its rare and nowhere as often as I experience this. I even have a whole 'Birds being weird" file on my phone with all the pics and videos I've taken lol
Do others experience this? Does anyone have a possible explanation?
