Old fanfic young alexis goes to the precinct

Hello everyone !
I decided to read some old Castle fanfic, there was one detail that I remember clearly is that Alexis was quite young and at one point, Kate, already working as a cop receive a visit from the young redhead and Kate gives her a speach telling her that even though she trusted a policeman, she should be careful....
Yeah I know... Not much to go on but if one of you remember that, it'd be great !
