After looking at nexts week’s recap [spoilers]

Post Body

Ok so I’m not the biggest fan of trying to link the kid to a character from Steven King’s works (mostly because I haven’t read any 😩) but I love to theorize about who the kid is in relation to the people from the show.

After seeing next week’s recap, I think I have it figured out, or at least I’m hoping this is what it turns out to be.

The couple that was looking to buy Lacy’s house, I feel I heard them mention the husbands name is Gordy. Looking back at the previous episode at the birthday party where the kid entered the house with all the trauma, the mom told the son to run while a baby was crying.

I’m thinking that son was the creepy Historian guy and his younger brother was the Kid. In next week’s sneak peak, they show all of these paintings of the Kid. In a previous episode, the historian was interested in buying the house if they included the paintings, mostly of Castle rock and we see in the sneak peak there are tons of the Kid.

Did the boy get separated from his brother in the woods when Dale Lacy captured him? Does the historian have the same ability as the kid in bringing out the worst in people only he was able to get away and learn how to control his powers. Is he back in Castle Rock to save his little brother or cause turmoil?

I’m starting to think all of the stillborn references about the kid are just red herrings.
