Electric stoves for cast iron cooking
Post Body

So I'm in the market for a new stove/oven. My house does not have a gas setup. I primarily cook with cast iron/enameled cast iron. In several years I've basically effaced one of the burners on my existing electric glass top stove due to using my cast iron on it. I'm fine with this because it's my stove, I live here, and it's the only burner that works, currently.

I'd like to hear recommendations for electric stoves from people who use cast iron. I've read about induction stoves, I've read about coils, and I've read about glass tops. I'm fine with glass top, but since I have the opportunity I'd like to hear what other people have experienced with induction or coils or using glass top without scratching the surface off of them.
