Cancelled for my protection, then the money vanished
Post Body

I had several transactions auto-cancelled by CashApp for my "protection" last month and earlier this month. If that wasn't frustrating enough, the money has just completely disappeared. Was supposed to be available in my bank account in 3-5 business days, but it's been at least 2 weeks in some cases and the bank has no knowledge of any deposits made to my account by CashApp.

I've emailed CashApp and this is their reply to every transaction questioned:

"I have confirmed with Visa that these funds, for this $20.00 canceled payment were returned to your card ending in ____.

Since it has been 23 business days and you are still missing these funds, please file a claim with your card-issuing bank. Once a dispute has been filed, we can provide additional documentation to prove that these funds were successfully returned.

Thank you for understanding, please feel free to let us know if you have any more questions. We're just one email away.

Hoping you and your loved ones are safe and healthy, I wish you an amazing rest of your day!

Best regards,

Cash App Support"

But it's not just this $20 transaction and one bank account. It's nearly $300 in 10 transactions and 2 different bank accounts, both of which have no record of anything incoming during this time period. I can prove the money was withdrawn by the app, but I have no idea where it went.

I've been in contact with my banks about it, but I need to find my missing money ASAP. Any advice? (Besides the obvious "don't use this app anymore")
