I was asked this question and couldn’t come up with a proper response: What would cause a car to “run better” after sitting a few days, compared to driven everyday?
Post Body

My friend had asked this question and it stumped me, I can’t really come up with a solid answer to it.

His car will sometimes just act wonky and sluggish under acceleration, but after sitting for a few days, it drives like a brand new car again. But soon returns to the previous state after an hour or two of regular driving. Even overnight doesn’t make a difference.

He’s the kinda dude who usually knows it all, so when I suggest it could be this or that, he’s “already fixed that”…

Just curious, don’t really care either way though.
