For those who know BMWs. I have a few questions

Hello. To start off, I have recently bought a 2003 325i e46(non m). It just needed a battery and was $1000. I plan on doing the general maintenance like an oil change, new air filter, plugs and wires, and transmission fluid change.
What else should I look at replacing? Also, what can I do to improve performance? I don’t know much about BMWs but I’d like to learn.
