The car hard shifts when cold from P to 1 and 2 and loses acceleration after driving for a little bit. The car is still on but does not speed ahead. When I used my scanner for error codes and it came up with p0797, p0780, & p1800 which i noticed are related to the transmission. I checked the transmission oil and it is black in color. Would an oil changed help with the problem or would I still need to change a solenoid in the valve body? It's my in-laws car and he just told me he never changed it.
