Hey everyone,

While on a trip, my ABS system pretty much give up on me. Fortunately the breaks went out right when we arrived to the destination. I pretty much had to e-break a stop sign right when i felt the breaks giving out and slowly proceeded and e-breaked it into a parking spot. Eventually after a few calls to my more car educated friends I had to call AAA for a 75 mile tow back home.

Here's what I've tried so far...

  • Let it sit to see if maybe the breaks over heated (Didn't work...)

  • Unhooked the battery to see if maybe it would reset itself (Didn't work...)

  • Cleaned the ABS sensors on all the tires (Didn't work)

  • Tried to bleed the breaks. NADA! seriously, Nada... there was absolutely no pressure in my break lines. Nothing was coming out. I'm not losing break fluid because it looks like my reservoir is full.

I think it might be the Accumulator, but i could be wrong. That was what came up when i googled my problem. I just wanted to get a second opinion before continuing the repair. I just dont want to be stuck with a $130 part when it could be something else.
