I drive an '03 Kia Spectra and I have been told by the people at Gerald's that my drivers side wheel bearing has gone bad. While seeing there inspection I believe the passenger side is bad as well. I've called several places about this and have been told that if the hub is also bad I'll need to have that replaced as well. The only way for me to get a hub assembly today would be through the dealership at $120. I've found some online for $50. I'm wanting to know if the bad wheel bearings and potentially bad hub can mess up anything else on my car or if I can just wait for the hub to come in and replace it all then. I should say that these are pressed in bearings. I also do pizza delivery as my job, so I will be driving with this car a good bit. Any advice?
TL;DR: Will driving around with bad wheel bearings mess up anything else in my car, so I can have cheaper parts and fix this myself?
