Hello! I’m back! I posted a few weeks ago about my 2011 Ford Fiesta not starting and a few people gave some excellent advice. Unfortunately, none seem to be the culprit:( I’m back to ask again for any advice or suggestions on what may be the culprit after trying everyone’s suggestions. Anything is appreciated and I thank you all once again!
Here’s the car details and play by play:
Car died on me in a grocery store parking lot and I unfortunately had to get it on a trailer and haul’er home. She’s got battery life in her. She simply, will not start. The starter will click but just won’t do enough to actually start the car. That being said, I put a new starter in her before this problem. Someone had suggested it was just simply a faulty starter because sometimes new parts are still quacked out. So I pulled it out and tested it, and it worked completely fine. The battery is brand new, no corroded wires or connectors, and the connections are secure. I’ve checked all the fuses and the relays to see if they’re bad or faulty. They all are in great and working condition. Another person suggested a clutch safety switch (I’m not certain that’s the correct name) under the clutch pedal. I tested that out, and the clutch switch is also working well. I did discover that there just isn’t enough voltage being sent to the starter. But the wires are good. My guess is something electrical… unfortunately. Not my specialty. I’m completely at a loss. I’m hoping it’s something silly and obvious lol. Once again though, thanks to everyone who’s read this and an extra thanks to anyone who can help or suggest anything!
