I have been looking to buy a Petrol CSUV under 15 Lakh with automatic transmission. I am from Bangalore and a good automatic is my priority. Shortlisted the Venue N line purely for the smooth DCT gearbox with paddle shifters and Tata Nexon AMT for the superior build quality and audio system. I am more inclined towards the Venue because the automatic transmission is so much smoother and for the better after sales service (I have been a Grand i10 owner in the past and never had problems with the car even after driving it for 58K kms). Somehow I do not get the similar feeling from Tata even though Nexon is a great car.

One of the reasons for me to consider the Venue N line over the SX (O) variant is because this has slightly better driving dynamics. I tend to have a heavier right foot and this feels more stable at higher speeds. But there are some nagging questions on the new Venue N line that I am hoping the owners in this sub could share more information.

1) Have you experienced any heating issues with the DCT gearbox? I will be driving in heavy bumper to bumper traffic on a daily basis

2) Does Venue N line also have the fuel pump issue that has been cropping up in some i20 N lines recently?

3) How comfortable is it to drive in the city, considering this car has a stiffer suspension, especially in bad roads? Bangalore has lot of bad roads

4) How is the comfort level when going on long drives? Again, does stiffer suspension make front/rear passengers more tired?

5) Why is no one talking about the audio system of the car? There are hardly any review on YouTube that talk about this. Everyone seems to focus just on the exhaust note. It appears to me that this car comes with unbranded speakers while the i20 N line gets Bose speakers. Any take on audio quality?

6) Does the N line premium over the SX (O) DCT justify the cost?
