Hi guys. We are in the process of buying a car for my mother who’s in the early 60s age group. She presently drives a wagonr to work, self driven. Our wagonr goes out to Highway for a straight 500kms run at least once a month, with driver. I’ve for some reason been stuck on kushaq and taigun. I guess the safety perspective is what’s driving me to them. Now coming from a wagonr without a single airbag vw/skoda seems pretty promising. My questions are following -
Her budget at present is 15L. Since we have been seeing kushaq/taigun we are prepared to expand the budget a bit farther. What car would you guys suggest keeping your parents in mind who would be driving it in town mostly and once or twice a month on highways?
For kushaq/taigun - which one will you pick and why? Also, with trim would you choose - top or second top? Lastly, which engine option do you think works great in this case - 1.0 or 1.5?
VW/Skoda are missing features like 360 cam and ADAS which new Creta seems to be offering. How important and necessary would you say are those features? Will it make you convert to creta from vw?
Any other advice you think can help me in making a decision.
I have a basic knowledge of things but nothing as deep as most of you guys so any help or advice is appreciated.
Also, what are somethings I can demand from showroom as a package deal and things to be kept in mind?
Thanks anyone who takes out their time to answer this.
