Hey everyone. Love this community!

I’m looking for a cheapish project car for under $5k that is still able to seat 4. Would love something convertible or targa top but not a deal breaker if not. But definitely something with some cool or unique factor. Bonus points if has a good engine, preferable 4 cylinder and overall car size on the smaller size to comfortably fit in my workshop. I’m a sucker for an 80s and 90s car.

I’m fairly proficient mechanically but not looking for anything prone to rust
