I currently drive a 2001 VX commadore V6 sedan, it has 325'000km's on it, but in the last 60'000km's I have replaced front and rear brake discs and pads, front wheel bearings, steering rack, sway bars, spark plugs, ignition coils, leads, PCM module, ABS Module, flushed brake lines, starter motor, battery, main housing seal, intake manifold gasket, tailshaft, fuel filter, windshield, crank angle sensor, cam angle sensor. But it has a knock in the bottom end when it's cold and gearbox is overdue for a service, with rough gear changes. What would it be worth to have the engine and gearbox rebuilt. Or would I just he better off getting something like this...

Also feedback from people who own forresters around this model would be much appreciated
