How much would you pay for a second hand car polisher?

I'm talking about either the dual action or forced rotation ones like Rupes LH19E LK900E or Flex XC3401 VRG XCE
They can go from $750-1000 brand new and I've seen them second hand for ~400-600. I don't know how quick they sell at certain prices but they can range from 3-6 years old. Seems like at least it doesn't depreciate that much so it may be worth purchasing if I'm planning on doing some detailing for myself, friends, and family.
