In NSW Sydney, on Dec 15th, I copped four demerit points going 10km/hr over the speed limit at a 60 km/hr road, detected by a speed camera. I'm on my red Ps. It was late at night driving home from my friend's place and it was a big empty road, so I just wasn't paying attention.
I was just thinking of apologizing and telling the truth about what happened. There's not alot of substance at all aside from repentance.
The suspension applies from Feb 28th and lasts for three months. I believe I'm eligible to get my green Ps in a few weeks, will this impending suspension affect that? Edit: Licenses pending suspension cannot upgrade
I'm trying to use cruise control any time I go at least 60km/hr and remembering where static speed cameras are to avoid fines
It doesn’t cost anything to go to court and appeal, I did that, did same thing as you on my greens and successfully got a reduced sentence. Good luck
