Hey Carpenters of reddit I need a hand choosing the right joint to put together table legs and rails. My father started a table a while back that consists of older solid Jarrah from an old workshop, it's great material but as it's unfinished it's sitting in the shed in risk of white ants and defects.
All the parts are there but being heavy it's rather important the joints stop it from slipping apart once assembled so here's where I need your help.
I'm not sending you in blind so here's a quick drawing: http://imgur.com/uet9B
Also the height from the top of the legs to the rail was just a quick decision though in reality I think the aim will be to have it as close to flush as possible.
