Hello everyone! I’m super excited. This will be my first cruise. I will be with my spouse and two kids ages 11 and 8. I am trying to plan fun things to do at the different destinations. We are pretty adventurous and I have some ideas but wanted to see what other people have planned and maybe get some advice.
I have a few things on my wish list for different things I want to do but have no idea how to go about organizing them. -zip lining for the family - waterfalls near Amber Cove - beach day
I want to go to the Damajagua Waterfalls but I will not book thru Carnival because I have read they don’t let you do cliffjumps. So I plan on booking thru Expedia for roughly $55/pp which includes transport and lunch. It’s about 4 hours total. What would be a reasonable time to be picked up considering we are supposed to arrive at the port at 7am?
Also I have considered visiting a beach after the waterfall trip until it’s time to get back on the boat. Any tips on where to go and when to be back are appreciated.
I would be open to snorkeling or a beach day in San Juan but am undecided at this point and could use recommendations.
For St Thomas there is an awesome zip line place called Tree Limin Extreme Zipline St. Thomas that allows tandem zip lining and my kids can ride with us so that is ideal although it is expensive and I have to find transportation for us. But that is about a 2 to 3 hour thing so I am also trying to figure out what else to do there too. The pictures look amazing there and I think this stop might be a great spot for a beach day too.
Brainstorm with me if you’d like or if you have advice or recommendations I am super open to whatever. Thanks in advance.
