I just got off of Carnival Horizon recently from 3/26-4/1 and I had a blast. It was my first time on a cruise and my first time out of the country. I’m so ready to book another cruise that I’ve been looking at cruises during my birthday next year. So I’m in between two choices:
Carnival Vista has a 6 day itinerary to Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove. Never been to any of these places but I’m interested.
Carnival Celebration has a 7 day itinerary of Amber Cove, San Juan, and St Maarten. I’ve been to San Juan but not the other ports.
I like Vistas itinerary better but since I liked the Horizon so much, I’m not sure how my experience will be on a older ship.
Vista is about $160 cheaper as well.
Celebration just seems like it’ll be bigger and better than Horizon but I’m hoping someone more experienced in cruises can give me some insight on which to choose. I’ll be turning 26 and will be with my friends. Thanks!
Also, when is the best time of year to book a cruise for the best deal?
Jus got off the vista two weeks ago. All excursions were shortened bc an engine is out. Was not happy at all. Other ships docked has 1-2 hours longer than we did at every stop.
