I currently own a dual battery blix packa and an older Yuba Spicy Currie. I had to ‘fix’ both bikes and they each run great.
The Yuba is older and is my first mid drive, I love how it rides overall despite not having a throttle.
I have pretty much full accessories on each bike while I’ve been trying to determine which bike is a better fit.
I feel the blix will continue to have issues, as I’ve damn near replaced every component except the batteries.
Considering I have a brand new 20Ah battery on my Yuba, should the motor and such be able to outlast the Blix?
I thought the lack of throttle would be a problem with passengers/load, but the lower CG of the Yuba and higher quality frame makes a world of difference in terms of ride quality. I’m mainly wanting to ensure this Currie mid drive will last a bit longer.
