I e-mailed my cover letter to a senior leader for one of the job openings at Google. She responded that her team was changed and she was not aware of any given role. However, she CC'd her manager to talk to me regarding any relevant job opportunities in their team. Now, he wants to talk to me about job opportunities "in detail".
