Hi everyone,
I'm a 31 years old man and for the past 9 years I've been working in a warehouse in a small boring town in England, lately as a team leader. Quite a comfortable job, making £33k a year. I am a Romanian immigrant, I don't have any studies, qualifications or skills, I didn't even graduate high school.
While it might be obvious why I feel like I've wasted my life so far, this year I want to start my GCSEs for Maths and English, after which I intend to follow a open university.
My ideal goal is to get to work remotely and travel the world a bit while working from wherever I want, since I am quite fed up with the English weather. My girlfriend is currently studying business and marketing in university for the same purpose.
I don't really have any passion that I would like to follow for a career. There are so many courses and career paths that I could start with a open university, that I don't know what to choose. I don't really care what it is I would do as long as it pays decent and allows me to work remotely and travel.
So here comes my question, as the title says...Which would be the best career path for remote work and ability to travel while working? Those of you who got to do this...what studies did you follow? What do you do? What is your advice for someone like me?
Thank you.
