Hey fellow Cards fans.
Isn't baseball funny? Just a few days ago we were all in the dumps worried about the teams play and now, after a sweep of the pirates, things really seem to be turning around. Obviously, baseball is a game of ebbs and flows, and streaks (good and bad) are a natural part of the equation. And yes, let's be honest, Pittsburgh is, if not in full-on rebuilding mode, probably pretty close to being there. And sure, the cards weren't just losing before: It was ugly at times. All that being said, I think we really showed what we are capable of. At the very least, we've won three in a row, shown some promising defensive improvements, and perhaps most importantly, brought some intensity and passion to the field.
And look at that, only one less win than the Cubs, and a (fingers crossed) friendly series with the brewers coming up. What do y'all think? I'm for sure looking forward to seeing what's next.
