Spending a week in Cardiff late November with no car and nothing to do. What do you all suggest?

I'm spending 5 days in Cardiff (November 16^th - 20^th) with absolutely nothing to do and no car. I'll be in a hotel not far from the Cardiff Bay train station and I will have people staying with me for a few days. As I have never been before and have no knowledge of the area I was wondering what is there to do?

So far my plan is to spend the nights I have company down a pub and the days I don't going on long walks to see what beautiful sights you have to offer me. I'm sure there's more to do than that so any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
