LGS has a full length carcano in 6.5 and is asking for 600. It's got barely noticeable pitting in the bore (kinda gotta be looking for pitting to notice it), comes with no sling or bayonet. Didn't catch a serial number or date of manufacture yet. How can I be sure that I'm not being ripped off for the rifle?
There's another LGS rhat has a Finnish marked infantry carbine with original bayonet and repro sling and absolutely no pitting in the bore. And chambered in 7.35. This second LGS also happens to want 600 for it.
While I prefer full length rifles (I have a Mosin 91/30 and a 20in ar15 and building an ar10), I'm not 100% against a carbine. So my question again goes, which is the better deal, what's generally a good deal, how can I be sure I'm not getting ripped off. Thanks guys and gals
