Just as the title says, I'm looking for a new track car. Requirements are as follows. This will be cross posted in r/whatcarshouldibuy

Must be dual purpose capable (A/C, Radio, PS, etc). Canyon roadtrips are a big part of my friend group.

Must have inexpensive consumables and upgrade parts

Must be lightweight (sub 2800lbs)

Must be RWD

Must be manual

Must have power or be able to make power easily and cheaply (not opposed to buying a car that has been engine swapped)

MUST BE BULLETPROOF. Track cars are no fun when you have to fix them every weekend.

Easy to work on would be a plus. I am mechanically inclined but not a professional by any means.

Edit-Budget will be around $20-$25k

Edit edit-Naturally aspirated is preferred.

Let's hear what you think! I will say I have owned multiple miatas so I would like to hear suggestions other than that if possible. Great cars, just didn't hit the spot for me.
