Fiesta ST good track car? Better options for roughly $20k?

I've been tracking my big turbo Fiesta ST for around a year now and have been loving it thus far. Put a lot of money and time into it getting the suspension dialed and continue to slowly make improvements. But as the car guy mentality goes, I wonder if there is something better out there for the money. Thus begs the question,

Should I continue to build my Fiesta into a purpose built track/comp car, or should I let it go while I'm ahead and pick up a "better" platform? If I sold my rig, the budget would be $20k and under. I've been looking into a c5z mostly. Reliability is most important. Not to say the FiST hasn't been reliable, just worried about how it will be as the miles rack up especially with the big turbo.
