So I'm looking to purchase a used car from a garage/small dealerships and I know very little about cars and don't have anyone to take with me when viewing cars. So I'm thinking of doing as much research as I can and when I'm interested in a car, to get it inspected by RAC. However I'm wondering what the usual process it? I'm assuming if I tell the garage that I'm interested in the car and I want it inspected by RAC, will wouldn't hold the car for me so is there anything I can do to ensure the car is 'reserved' for me whilst I get it inspected?
