Hey all (again!)

I have got some cracking advice here so far, so forgive me for asking more hot hatch questions.

I feel like I have at some point and time wanted to buy any and all of them. Though as I research everyone, it seems as if there is always issues of some form or another. Currently looking at MK7 Golf R's.

Is it just a fact of the matter that every 'performance hatchback' will just have their own set of issues that make them not perfect? I feel like every time I think I have made a choice, further research makes me think twice.
