Banging sound from near side rear wheel when driving at low speed, louder when braking
Post Body

Hi all,

So, after leaving my car outside for a month for the Xmas break, when I used it I could hear a banging sound at low speeds and louder under braking.

Thought it was probably just a bit of corrosion, but after around 10 miles the problem is still there.

Took it to a garage, who diagnosed it as a distorted disk.

Iā€™m a little skeptical as the disks are only 6 month old with around 2000 miles on them. And it feels fine under braking, other than the banging sound.

Does a distorted disk sound reasonable? Or take it somewhere else for a second opinion?
