It's a 52 plate polo, 37k miles (only did 1k per year for around 4 years, 3-5k other years), 900 quid, MOT until next June, full service history

Most recent MOT: Repair immediately (major defects): Offside Front Coil spring fractured or broken (5.3.1 (b) (i))

Repair as soon as possible (minor defects): Offside Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated (5.3.4 (b) (i))

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories): Rear Registration plate deteriorated but not likely to be misread (0.1 (b)) Front Inner Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge both sides (5.2.3 (e)) Offside Front Tyre has a cut but not deep enough to reach the ply or cords (5.2.3 (d) (i)) Offside Rear Nail in tyre () Nearside Front Nail in tyre ()

The fixed spring has been replaced. But I'm a little worried about the minor defect of 'Front Inner Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge both sides' - this has been a minor for its last 2 MOTs. Could this be due to anything more serious than tyre wear?

It's going to be my first car - so I'm not too sure what is, and what isn't a red flag.

Clearly it needs new tyres though
