Suggestions for a first car that needs to be kind of big
Post Body

Hi All,

I'm 25, and looking to pass my test fairly soon.

I don't particularly need a car for daily life, as I mainly cycle to work. But, I'm quite an outdoors person, and would like a car to go on weekend trips most weekends as my current trips are heavily limited on trains.

The car itself would also need to be somewhat big, so I can fit my bike in. The wheelbase on my bike is pretty long (longer than a small car is wide) so a normal bike rack wouldn't do (though a small car with a roof rack would be an option)

I was considering a Skoda estate or something similar, but as it's a first car insurance is way too much.

Anyone have any suggestions?
