Insurance fraud causing a headache

Post Body

Someone is trying to put a false claim in against me and Iā€™m waiting for the insurance companyā€™s to fight it out. In short nothing happened but sheā€™s trying to say I damaged her car.

My insurance company has ā€œtemporarilyā€ taken my no claims off me but my car insurance is due in 2 weeks time

Because of this itā€™s putting my insurance up over Ā£1000 so am I just stuck having to pay this extra money or is there anything I can do to not pay this

My insurance company isnā€™t bothered because they keep saying that it will just get refunded when the claim is resolved if Iā€™m found not at fault but I donā€™t see how it will get refunded because when I put the claim down I canā€™t get insurance with the one thatā€™s Ā£1000 cheaper if that makes sense

Am I just stuck paying an extra Ā£1000 for car insurance this year because of someone commiting insurance fraud and if this is the case will I have any legal right to claim off her for anything once itā€™s resolved?
