Are Halfords car batteries any good?

Post Body

So I think my battery is on the way out. It had been sat for 2 weeks as I was away. I went to unlock it with the fob but it was dead, so I had to open it manually. Turned the key all the way and the red light at the top of the dash was flashing rapidly. Completely dead.

However it did start after being jump started and I took it out for a good run after being sat for 2 weeks. Now I’m going to see tomorrow if it’ll start, if not then I’ll have to get a new battery.

I had a look at Halfords and there’s a yuasa battery for £100 and it comes with a 5 year warranty. Is yuasa a good battery and is the warranty actually worth it? Or are there some cheaper alternatives?

My car is a 1.2 Ford Fiesta mk6
