Car key battery

Post Body

I drive a Skoda Kodiaq (2017). Had it for close to 4 years now. It’s got battery operated remote keys. The round button looking battery (CR2032). It’s been working fine until about a month ago. The battery was low and told me to change the battery on my car dash. Changed it, worked fine for a week, then suddenly stopped working. No warning or anything! Changed the battery and it was fine. A week later, the same problem. I’ve had to change 4 batteries in the past month. It can’t be running out that quick. They are Duracell batteries.

Any one know what the problem could be?

It’s the original car key.

TIA
