Advice on door ding incident & driver refusing any fault.
Post Body

So looking for some opinions, i'm sitting parked in my car (Ford Kuga) and someone beside me in a Golf Estate, partly opens her car door, sits in the drivers seat and is concentrating on holding her stanley cup thing and doesnt notice the wind catch her door which is flung wide open as far as it goes and thumps my door.

Long story short, the driver of the Golf is adamant it would be physically impossible for her door to have taken a chip out of mine due to the shape of her door and that she only thumped my wing mirror, my point was she hit the door & wing mirror, causing the chip, and she's just flat out saying im lying about it, any thoughts on her opinion that its "impossible" ?

I informed her that I had been quoted £330 for a full door respray from "Chip Away" or £54 inc tax from a local bodyshop to sand the spot, layer the paint cure it and seal it (which i'm fine with obviously), but this made zero difference.

For reference we were parked side by side, both facing forward, I have used my amazing MS paint skills to make a rough diagram of what happened.

Edit: ignore the state of my car, I live up a hill in the arse end of nowhere and it gets from clean to looking like it shit itself daily in the winter, the joys of a white car.
