There’s always people asking what case they should get, what model etc. But if and when you know what car you want to buy(if you have a certain one in mind) how do you go about getting it? EBay? Forecourt? Private garage?

In your experience what has been the most successful way of getting a car of your choice for the best price.

EDIT: thanks all for your comments! I’m in a situation atm where I’ve just graduated and I’m looking for my own car before I start. I have a small amount of student loans saved up so I’d like to pay cash. I need to consider stuff like insurance and added fees too as I’m trying to keep costs as low as possible
