Taking out temporary insurance on a courtesy car?

Post Body

So I've looked around online and I can't seem to find any answers regarding it so would like to ask reddit to help clear the air.

So basically I don't have my own car, but I commute to work using my parents car which I insure through veygo, separately from the main insurance policy of the car. Recently my mum put a dent in the rear door and the car is due in to the garage for tomorrow and in the mean time she is being supplied with a courtesy car but obviously I won't be insured to drive it.

So my question is if its possible to take out temporary insurance like I usually do but for the courtesy car because I depend on driving for my livelihood and its got me very stressed that I can't seem to find anything out about it online.

Thanks in advance for any help :)
