My 2013 Ford Focus has been having some electrical issues. Normal mechanic said he couldn't work on it because stuff has to be reprogrammed and I' have to bring it to the dealership (ugh 🫠). Dealership charged me $725 just to diagnose the issues and it doesn't roll into repair costs. Is that the new normal or is my dealership extra shitty?
• $765 Needs new audio control unit (speakers keep disconnecting/shifting off abruptly) • $1110 Needs new dash cluster panel (screen in center above speedometer and stuff isn't working) • $410 Needs one ac motor mount/actuator/door something replaced (doesn't work on the face setting only) • $390 Driver side stablizer bar is loose and clunking. They said to replace both bars.
