Last Saturday while parked car started shaking violently and check engine light came on (solid not blinking). Took to mechanic. Told me it was a misfire and recommended that I replace spark plugs/ coils. Also recommended I get a new valve cover. Monday the repairs were done. Wednesday , solid check engine light came on. Took back to nacho if and he said I need a new sensor. Fine, sensor replaced. Thursday took daughter to practice and solid check engine light back on with mild shaking. Just a o happens I was near an auto zone. They scanned and a ton of codes popped up including the spark plugs and coils. He said take it back to mechanic. Car didn’t start back up the first time, but eventually did. Arrived at mechanic tans the next morning he told me that his scan resulted in spark plug/ coil 3. He replaced. I picked car up last Friday evening. No issues: as we speak I arrived to my daughter’s practice which is 15 miles from home went to park and check engine light back on. Car cut off twice when restarting. Practice ends soon and I plan to drive car home and have it towed to mechanic AGAIN in the AM. So I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata hybrid with 190k miles. Please help me understand what is happening. Is it the car or the mechanic Thank you in advance.
