Hi all, having some issues with CarPlay I've never experienced before in my other cars.

I've just fitted a PX6 based head unit to my boring car, and bought the cheapest USB Carplay dongle I saw to prove the concept, which seems to be an Eonon based unit. Link: USB Dongle Adapter for Apple iOS CarPlay GPS Android Car Radio Player Navigation | eBay

Now, I am posting to ask if this is an issue with the dongle and whether it is worth investing in another dongle. I am having issues with Waze mostly, where it will stutter and lag behind even at a fair old speed of 50mph. Clearly this renders Waze less than useful if it can miss important streets. I've tried dropping the FPS, resolution, sending the audio via Bluetooth and thus I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that this is an issue with the dongle or an Android Carplay thing. FWIW I have a Pioneer Z7200 in my TVR and that is absolutely spot on.
